Again?

So I'm moving to New Jersey to be a nanny again!!! AHHH!!! I'm excited for it! It's been a lot of hard work though. It all happened super fast! I am now currently in St. George with zero money, trying to sell the contract to my apt for the school year, and living off my parents until I fly out to New Jersey later this month. It's been nice catching up with my family. I'm going to miss all my friends in Utah sooo much!! I made amazing friends in Logan I hope to never lose contact with! My job is a year contract, so the plan is to do online school while I'm there, and then go back to Logan when the contract is up. But a lot happens in a year, so I can't guarantee I'll be back. Maybe I'll meet the love of my life! Well, goodbye Utah, and hello New Jersey once again! Lets see how this adventure goes!

Hello Summer :D

So..... Spring semester is over, except for one final that I need to take online before I go to work today. I've kind of been procrastinating on that. Now it's summer! I'm loving the summer weather. It's no longer freezing while I'm walking home from work. I'm not taking summer classes, so this summer is going to consist of work, camping, writing letters, getting into shape, and hopefully some amazing adventures!
As far as boys go... I broke a guy's heart this past semester, started liking this other boy, and now he's out doing summer sales in Philadelphia. We're in like with each other, and so I guess we'll just have to see how it goes this summer being thousands of miles away from each other. It's hard because he works all day, and by the time he's done he's exhausted from walking and working all day. And when he gets off, I'm usually still at work because of the time difference. So we'll most likely just be able to talk on the nights that I have off. That is a big change from seeing him every day for the past 4 months.
But enough about that, what else is on my mind? Well there are two places that I pass to and from work that I want to go check out someday. One is a mexican marketplace, and the other is a gamer shop. Random I know. But I think it would be so cool to learn a little bit of spanish, and buy some mexican food from this place! And as for the gamer place, it's pretty much the only place open on main street that I pass by on my way home from work at night. I pass by it and I see a bunch of guys playing some game. I just want to walk in one night and ask what's going on, what games their playing, and stuff like that! Just the curiosity in me I guess!
Macy is dating Jay now, and so far it seems like it's going really well! I love them both, so they better not break each other's hearts!
Well I must go to work now.... so much for taking that test! I'll have time after work luckily. I have to do it then!

College Life

I think I fail at college life. I haven't gone to a single football game, dance, or anything like that. Don't get me wrong, I've been having a fandidlytastic time here. I just haven't done any of the college activities. I'm sure I'll at least go to some basketball games. Mostly it's just been parties at my apt., hanging out with people and boys, watching Bones, and studying/homework. When I get on facebook and see all these pics from different college activities some friends have gone to, I think "oh I guess I could have gone to that.... oh well!" At least I know I can always go next year. I'm still getting used to being back in Utah. It's  mainly getting used to the people. I know it sounds weird, but there's a huge difference and I miss my Jersey peeps. A LOT. Maybe I can go back there to nanny during the summer. It makes me wonder where I'm going to live in the future when I have a family. Would I want to raise a family on the east coast? Or do I want to raise my family here in the west? In Utah? I don't know. Maybe California. Time will only tell. I will, of course, have to talk to my future husband about it. Whoever he might be.

Am I really back??

My body is back, my mind isn't. Everywhere I look I ask myself why I'm here, and I have to remind myself of what I'm doing. I know things will get better, but I also know it's going to be a while. I feel like a missionary getting off their mission. In that awkward stage trying to get back to reality. For some missionaries it doesn't take very long, for others it takes forever. How long will it take for me? It was hard for me to cry before I came back, but as soon as I hit the plane and it all became real, I feel like I'm always keeping back tears. Things are so different yet so the same since I was here last. I wonder how all of this will effect my studies in school. I'm so happy, scared, and I don't know what about starting school. I know I have friends there, and I know it will be fun, and I know it will be hard work. But I had all of that in Jersey too. It's just a completely different kind of friends, fun and work.
The transition is emotional, but it's what I need to do. Everything is going to be okay.
It's off from one adventure, moving onto the next.

Life :)

Life is starting to change! It does that to you apparently. How is it changing? Well my days as a nanny are coming to an end, I'm almost all set up for college, I've started running to put myself back in shape, and the weather is getting warmer. It's all bitter sweet, except for the weather getting warmer. That is sweet all around! I'm going to miss everyone here in Jersey a TON, but I know I'm going to have a blast in college. I really don't know what I'm feeling right now. It's almost like I'm not feeling at all because the happiness and sadness sort of cancel each other out. So when people ask me how I'm doing/feeling or whatever, all I can reply with is "I'm good!". I'm good because I know everything is going to be okay :) And that's pretty much it.

The Flying Turkey

So I am currently at a Sunday testimony meeting and a young man went up and shared a story originally told by John Bytheway. The story is about a turkey who found out how to fly. After he learned to fly, the other turkeys wanted to learn how to fly also. So they all got together and he taught them all how to fly. They loved to fly and flew all over the place. When they were done with the lesson, they all walked home. The point of the story is to take what you learn and use it! Learn to fly, and fly home instead of walk! Don't just learn it and not do anything about it. I loved this story and just had to share it :)

Is this going to work???

So I was thinking about how bad I am at updating my blog and realized that maybe there was an app I could download that I could use to help me keep my blog updated! So here I am now testing out an app! It had bad reviews but I didn't have a lot to choose from. Does anyone know someone that could create an amazing app for blogging?? If not I'll just hope this works :)
